|  BALAI KHAZANAH ISLAM SULTAN HAJI HASSANAL BOLKIAH BLOOD DONATION CAMPAIGN
13/03/2023A Blood Donation Campaign was conducted at Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (BKISHHB) on Monday, 13 March 2022, located at the lobby of BKISHHB, Simpang 26, Jalan Pengiran Babu Raja, Bandar Seri Begawan.
BKISHHB collaborated with the Blood Donation Centre, Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital, Ministry of Health in holding the campaign from 9.00 a.m. until 11.30 a.m. in the morning session, meanwhile from 1.30 p.m. until 3.30 p.m. in the afternoon session.
Before proceeding with the donation of blood, blood donors were examined and required to answer personal questions about their health and after the donation was done, donors were advised to drink plenty of water and to take enough rest.
Dayang Amalina binti Junggal, the Research Officer of BKISHHB, stated that Blood Donation Campaign is one of the valuable deeds as a basis for helping each other. Generally, this activity is associated with the orders of Allah Ta’ala to perform good deeds among Muslims as Allah states with the interpretation,
“Cooperate with one another in goodness and righteousness, and do not cooperate in sin and transgression.” (Surah Al-Ma’idah: 2)
Blood Donation Campaign as such was desired to create love and establish charitable nature by increasing the national blood bank.
68 pint of blood was donated from 68 donors which involved the officers and staff of BKISHHB and the public.
This campaign was hoped to be continued in the near future with the cooperation of the Blood Donation Centre, RIPAS Hospital. | Attachments |
