​Since its inauguration on 12 October 2019, The Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Islamic Treasury Hall (BKISHHB) has often been the focus of visits from various visitiors including dignitaries and guests from home and abroad.

In this regard, BKISHHB officers and staff this morning received a visit from the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Melaka, His Excellency Tun Seri Setia (Dr.) Haji Mohd Ali bin Mohd Haji. Rustam; and spouse, The Most Felicitous Toh Puan Datuk Wira (Dr.) Hajah Asmah binti Haji Abdul Rahman, who were visiting the country for three days.

Present to welcome the arrival of the entourage were Acting Permanent Secretary (Civil Service Governance) at the Prime Minister's Office, Pengiran Haji Raffizanna bin Pengiran Haji Razali; and Acting Director of BKISHHB, Haji Muhammad Ibrahim bin Haji Juma'at.

The event began with a visit to the BKISHHB Exhibition Gallery and concluded with the signing of a memorabilia sheet.

Among the interesting exhibition artefacts in the nine exhibition galleries are mushaf collections of various shapes and measurements and the noble hair of Rasulullah Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, a Burdah piece of Rasulullah Shallallahu Alaihi Wasallam as well as replicas of footprint and swords, and staff of the Prophet Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam, a collection of various Islamic manuscripts, Islamic Astronomical instruments, walking sticks, rosaries, fossils and more.

The exhibition galleries at BKISHHB are open for public visits from 9.00am to 5.00pm every day except Friday.

Also present was the Malaysian High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency Dato' Raja Reza bin Raja Zaib Shah.
